Newly-built villas
Residential area 't Harener Holt is located near the centre of Groningen. The Groene Kamers sub-development features 11 newly-built villas, designed by Vdp Architecten. Before construction started, the buyers themselves chose the type of brick for their villas. In order to maintain unity, a colour palette was put together in advance, featuring facing bricks that went well with each other well, whilst in keeping with the desired appearance of the district.
Based on the Standard Collection.
Property developer PC Vastgoed approached us with the colour palette. Pieter Jan: "We looked at the possibilities within the predetermined colours in consultation with them and the architect. Our facing bricks met all their desires, thanks to the variety in our Standard Collection. Buyers were offered a choice of colours from standard yellow, standard white and standard red, or a house type finished with Keim paint. This way all villas have a unique appearance.
All buyers were allowed to choose one type of brick. To help them on their way, we converted our brick proposals into sample panels. This gave the buyers a life-like idea of the appearance of their future exterior walls. Pieter Jan: "We've been working with both the property developer and the architect for many years, and this project too was brought to a very succesful conclusion."
